Bloom Where You Are Planted

BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED
By E. Ruth Greiner
There once was a woman who lived in a beautiful garden. The arrangement of every part of her garden home was perfect. There was always a fragrant scent. It was a large home - but no servants. Never too hot. Never too cold. No storms. No dangers. Her home was framed with boughs and ferns. Birds chirped daily in the greens. All the flowers and plants never needed watering. No weeds. No insects.
This woman was married to a perfect man. There was never an angry word. She had never been single. Before she had her first child she had never seen a boy or girl. She was never a child.
Every evening a Visitor came who was always welcome. How late He stayed and talked we are not told. But the woman and her husband never wished Him to leave.
Eve was the woman. The Garden of Eden was her home. If this woman had never lived, there would not have been a "you" or "me".
You and I do not live in the Garden of Eden. But I like to think of each of us living in the Garden of God. Each of us is a plant. Are we blooming where we are planted?

Some days I thrive under the Son, other days He really needs to pull the weeds around me :)
Thank you for sharing, Denise.

Blessings on your day and always.

hey Denise! Just want to say hey. I read here almost everyday but don't often comment. Just want you to know that you are SO often in my thoughts and prayers.

Good question, Denise. It's easy to complain about our circumstances, but it's another to just bless the Lord regardless of what they are. Much love to you.
