In Other Words Tuesday

"Until you settle the issue of your own worth, it's impossible to bring holiness into anyone Elses life. Until you understand that your worth is already determined by the fact of your birth, everything else is an exercise in propping up a dying tree."
~ Carol Brazo ~"No Ordinary Home" How can we tell others how precious they are, and how very much God loves them, if we do not believe that about ourselves? God created us for His fellowship, He designed us in the womb. He knows everything about us, from how many hairs we have on our head, to how much we weigh. We are stamped with His seal of approval, made by His hands. We need to be proud of these facts, and be willing to share Gods love with others. I use to be very down on myself, had no self worth at all. My father did not want me, he told my mother to abort me. She went to the Doctor, and he gave her some pills to take to cause her to miscarry. She took all of them, and she started bleeding a little bit, but did not miscarry. When she was six months pregnant with me, my father tried to push her out of a eight story building, but the police got there before he could. What am I trying to say? I was meant to be here, God wanted me in this world. He is my true parent, He just allowed my parents to raise me. He loves me, because I am me. I want to tell everyone about His awesome love, and fellowship. There is no need to be lost and alone in this world, grab onto Gods love, He will take you places that you never dreamed of.

Denise...

When my oldest daughter came home, I found a prayer online that I used to pray with her every night. I did not keep the authors name...

"We say to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that your life is not a mistake. God made you out of the Love that He is. He called you into being at the right time and the right place. He prepared a way for you and He gave His life for you. You are a privilege, not a burden; a joy and a delight, not a disappointment; you are not an intrusion, you belong. You are a treasure just because you are, and not for what you can do. You are one of the Father God's children, and He delights in you, and we delight in you!"

Psalms 139:14 "I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well."

Thank you for reminding us that no matter what the world says His Word is the first and last over our lives.

You're a testament to God's goodness!

What an amazing story. You have powerful evidence of how deeply God loves you and really wanted you here! I love your question, "How can we tell others how precious they are, and how very much God loves them, if we do not believe that about ourselves?" I think that's the most important issue here. Great post.

How brave you are to share that with your readers. And what a testament you are to the fact that we each have a plan for our lives, a path we must walk.
