Yesterday, Eddie and I were getting ready to go to the riverpark to walk for awhile. Well, one of my preparations in getting ready to go, was to use an eyebrow brush to make it seem like I have eyebrows. After that, I put a hat on to cover my fading away hair. Before we left, my fake eyebrows begin to itch, so I went to the bathroom, and washed them off. Then they turned red from the itching!! What an adventure. But, you know what? God taught me a lesson through all of that, all I need to be is me. My eyebrows and my hair, are just outward adornments. God knew when He created me, how many hairs were always going to be on my head, and eyebrows. But, that does not matter to Him, what matters to Him is how I live my life. He loves me for how I choose to love, and serve Him, not for what I look like. He just wants me to be me, nothing more, nothing less. After all, I was created in His image, so that makes me quite lovely. Blessings to you all.

You are so cute Denise! My son Brent has blond eyebrows and they are so light that you can't see that they are there. He is very self-conscious about it for some reason. I don't even notice it.
Denise, what a great way to look at your self image!! I wish everyone would look at themselves this way...myself especially included!! Postive self image is a great thing!! We are in Illinois now with our daughter and family. I cannot get my laptop hooked up like last time and WHY I have NO idea!! I have tried so many many times..I give up now!! Thanks for writing!!
