Hello my friends
Hello sweet friends, hope you all enjoyed your 4th of July holiday. Here in Tennessee, it rained Thursday-Sunday. Eddie was off Thursday-Sunday. I was sick Thursday-Sunday, and still am. I am miserable due to my stomach, it hurts, cramps, and of course, I stay nauseous. Add to that some major stress from Eddie, and it makes for some very unhappy times. He is really fighting me about the vocational training, and me getting a job. But, I knew it would be this way. It still hurts, deeply. Well, I am trying to get use to my new way of life. Juicing, everything I eat has to be liquefied. Any ideas, or recipes? What are the best fruits and vegetables to juice? Help, please!! Take care, love you all.

I do hope soon...everything will be better.
I'm sorry you're going through this, Denise. I don't know about juicing, but I'd say that any dark green or dark yellow vegetables would be better for you. I think they say that dark fruits and dark vegetables have more antioxidants in them and are more beneficial.
Plus, today's post has a really tasty protein shake.
Sorry to hear that your holiday week end was not very enjoyable.
I don't personally know of any juicing combos - but I have heard of a lot of them - I am thinking maybe you could google some recipes. Hopefully some of your readers have some tried and true recipes. I have heard that juicing is really good for you and helps you get a lot of nutrition. Do you have a good juicer?
Hope you have a good day - free of sickness and such, Lisa :O)
My husband used to juice until the juicer broke and he never replaced it. I think apples, carrots, celery and stuff like that make great juice, but it would also depend on what your stomach can handle.
I'm sorry you are going through some difficult times. I'm sending good thoughts your way and hope you can work through this together.
Cuida tu estomago Denise,y ofrece todo a DIOS.Un abrazo grande.
Bendiciones!!!
Praying that you are restored Denise! You can always look up home remedies for an upset stomach! Jesus loves you and I do too :)
I'm so sorry you're still having a rough time, Denise. I'll continue to pray for you and your husband.
It sounds like you've gotten some good advice already about juicing. :-)
Do what your hearts desire Denise. Remember: God lives in your heart. We keep on praying.
I prayed for you today as soon as I woke up...I do not know about juicing, but I personally love anything with apples in it. I think you will probably need a good juicer, one that will be able to incorporate the whole fruit or veggie, as I heard there are so many extra nutrients in the parts that we usually throw away...like skin and core and that is why juicing is so good for us.
But for now, you might want to stick with unsweetened juices (fruit have their own natural sugars.
Homemade soup is another good meal.
Here is an easy recipe that I love:
1 can Chicken broth (low sodium)
water: fill quart sauce pan to 1/2
Bok Choy
Carrots
green onion
seasoning (whatever you like)
Cook until veggies are soft.
*Bok choy is similar to celery but easier to digest, and not as bitter..Use mainly the green leafy part with just a bit of the white stalk...Walmart sells it, but you may have to google a pic of it so you know what to look for...as not too many of the people who work there seem to know what it is...I always have to describe it to them at the checkout...and then I give them my recipe for this quick healthy soup.
Love you, Lisa
Does milk bother you? You might try some slimfast shakes if not. I drink one for lunch every day. Also, there are tons of fruit smoothie recipes out there. I'm so sorry, Denise, for the continuing struggles you face. Your faith shines through. I'm praying.

This is supposed to be good for upset tummys
1 cucumber
3 stalks celery
1/2 Inch ginger
Since you now have to eat all liquid meals, I recommend buying a thrift store book on juicing.
Here are a few of them that you can look for. I don't think it matters which one but you want one with a lot of recipes.

Praying for you! Acai and aloe both have health benefits, and berries and melons make a great juice or smoothie base. God bless,
Laurie
Evening Denise, I hope you are feeling better soon. I'm sure they're many recipes you can look up on the internet and even come across some great FB or Blogs about liquid foods! I'm sure this is very difficult for you...it would be for me! Find what you love...chicken broth soup, tomatoe soups, jellos, pudding, and experiment---it will get easier! Prayers~~~Roxie
You are in my prayers and I hope that your hubby lightens up a bit and you can feel well enough to do what you desire.
Blessings and hugs!
Hang in there, friend!
I go to a juice bar when I'm *off the hill* visiting my family. Juicing can be a really healthy change. I think berries and bananas make excellent smoothies. I've heard of people adding peanut butter, too, for protein. As for vegies - spinach, kale, beets seem to be popular at this juice bar. Sometimes they add banana or lemon to make things a little sweeter.
Keep your dream going...
GOD BLESS!
{{{{Hugs)}}}} I love you.
We live in TN, too - and I laugh that I had to take a canoe to the garden lat weekend:) Praying for you, that God's plan fulfills your needs through the perfect solution.
You might find this helpful. Take care!

One day and one step at a time...Eddie will adjust. Go on line and look up your stomach diagnosis. You may find info there. Hugs from Dee

I agree with Dee. Can you add protein in it - yogurt - fruit? There are other things then just fruit and veggies.

praying that you feel better!!
Praying for you both! I will ask my hubby to give me a list of what he found when we bought a juicer a few years ago. My hubby does things in a big way and researches everything! I do know kale is really healthy! It is usually cheap too. Carrots are good to juice. You can mix it with pineapple! Beets are a favorite but you have to be careful, they are so thick like a soup and such a deep red color you will have a red mustache! I like celery plain and simply. It is good for joint pain! Perhaps it is psychosomatic but it sure makes my old achy bones feel better! Watermelon is cool and refreshing. I have a Jack LaLanne juicer and my hubby has the Montel WIlliams juicer. I will try to find the recipe booklets and make a large print copy for you. Take care sweet lady!
Hi Denise! I know I left a previous comment. Please pray for Jessica my friend. They need to get their own apt. She and her hubby and three kids live with her family, mom, dad and two sisters. It is very difficult. Pray good things will happen for them. Hugs Anne
I hope you will find delicious and nutritious juicing recipes, and a way to get protein in there. I don't have any info on juicing, and hope you are finding a peaceful day today.
