The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."Praise God, I am so very thankful that the Lord looks at the heart, the inner person, not the outward person. If He judged me, as the world so often does, I would be in major trouble. I have no hair, hardly no eyebrows, have a constant battle with my weight, which is usually on the upper end of the scale. Beautiful, I will never be, not even pretty, or cute. But, that is ok. I am still royalty. I am a daughter of the King, so that makes me a princess. I may not ever attend a ball, or fit into a glass slipper. I have something even better to look forward to, heaven. Talk about beautiful, heaven is beyond beautiful. Praying that you also have heaven to look forward to.

Hey there... we are neighbors tonight over at Lisa Jo's! I love this scripture! It was one of the first times that it dawned on me that I had some serious work to do! I spent much of my growing up years 'looking good' and trying to appear Beautiful - paying little to no attention to what was on the inside! This scripture helped me to see the importance of that... and opened the door for Him to work with me in making all things new - and beautiful! Blessings! ~K~

We long for heaven because we yearn for perfection...only there will our longing be satisfied.
Even the most physically beautiful will fade as time on this earth goes by...it is a disappearing vapor...a mirage in the desert.
When people look at us they can see Jesus when we have love in our hearts, and that kind of beuty never fades as long as we stay in perfect love with the Lord...I see Jesus when I see you!
