Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. Have you learned more from success or failure? Explain. Failure, because when I fail, it makes me more determined to succeed next time.

2.  What did you call your grandparents when you were growing up? I called my maternal grandparents-Pa Boots, and Grandma Velma. I called my fraternal grandparents-Pa Pa, and Granny.

3.  You're invited to a luau.  In keeping with that theme, what dish will you bring to share? Pineapple upside down cake, and Hawaiian pizza.

4. Besides Jesus, what one person's life story do you think everyone should know about? Mother Teresa.

5. "Don't sweat the small stuff." Agree or Disagree? Why? Agree, life is way too short to waste precious time on the insignificant stuff.

6.  June is National Rivers Month. When were you last on a river? What's the prettiest river you've ever seen? What's a river you'd like to see? I was last on a river last summer, it was the Tennessee river. I think the Tennessee river is gorgeous. I would love to see the Rio Grande River.

7.  Speaking of rivers-paddling, fishing, swimming, or bird watching safely from the shore? Which activity would you choose? Yes-you have to choose. Swimming, and Fishing.

Excellent answers dear one!! [don't forget to add your link at Joyce's post today!!] I love your answer to who you'd like to get to know...Mother Theresa. And yep, don't sweat the small stuff. If it's gonna get into something 'big'...then, it's time to deal with it. Right?!!!

Oh....and come on down, The Rio Grande is waiting for your visit. [Altho not much water these days.]

I saw the Rio Grande once. So shallow it was more like a stream, and not very wide, but I could see rainbows glistening off the water which was cool. I bet the Tennessee River is gorgeous!

I read some book about Mother Theresa several years ago and I was surprised and inspired by her life.

How fun - I just read the answers to these questions on another blog. It was fun reading yours, and enjoying the diversity of my friends.

God made each one of us so unique and special.

And, for the record, I'm with you on #7 - definitely some swimming and fishing!

GOD BLESS, Denise.

Having lived in Southern California for the past 40 years, I don't remember when I last saw a river. Well, there's the Kern River, but I have only seen its dry bed. But I have seen the Rio Grande and the Mississippi too, so that's something, I guess.
