Thankful Thursday-

Welcome to another thankful Thursday everyone. I am so thankful for this life that God has blessed me with. I have recovered from my recent illness, and I praise God for that. I am so blessed to have the true physician taking care of me. Lovebug did not get to work this week, so he will not get a paycheck next week. But, God blessed us with a financial blessing in our mailbox this week. We received an unexpected check for $275.00. Praise God, we will be fine next week now. My dad wants to be a part of my life, I cannot express what that means to me. Lovebug and I are going to church with my dad this coming Sunday. I am overflowing with joy, such a beautiful blessing to be in church with my dad. God is so awesome, praise His holy name.

How wonderful! My own relationship with my father has been strained, so I can imagine how big this is for you. Amazing what God can do when we let Him be Who He is. And I wanted to say thank you for the kind words you have given me. I can't tell you how much I appreciate them. Thank you, dear sister. May He continue to bless you.

How wonderful how full circle too. It is so amazing to see the jurney God sets before us. We become so much more able to repent when loss hits hard. You may find out that he really does love you and regrets his hardness toward you in your youth. He is healing from the guilt of his actions toward you before your birth. We age and the stupid often hopefully wears off. Sounds like the gain is coming to him. He must really feel terrible about his youth and how he responded out of a fear or whatever to your arrival.
full circle because your heart was clean

Denise,

I read your posts about your dad. I, too, had to pray for my dad for 17 years before he accepted Christ as his Savior. It truly is in God's timing. We want the answer now, but sometimes God says wait. It's hard but worth it in the end. He knows best.

God bless you!
